Sport Pilot License (SPL) Training

Sport Pilot License (SPL) Training – Freedom to Fly, Made Simple

The Sport Pilot License (SPL) Training, regulated under GACAR Part 61 – Subpart J by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), is a streamlined, cost-effective way to experience the thrill of aviation. Designed for recreational flying, the SPL allows you to operate light sport aircraft, including Fixed-Wing and Gyrocopters, limited to two seats. With privileges such as flying during daylight hours under Visual Flight Rules (VFR), at altitudes up to 10,000 feet MSL or 2,000 feet AGL, and within Class E and G airspace (and B, C, D with proper training), While it comes with limitations—such as no night flying, no commercial use, one passenger maximum, and visibility requirements over 5 km. it’s an ideal license for those seeking the joy of flight without the complexity of commercial certification.
